
Amanda was born in Forth Worth, Texas and moved to McKinney in 2007. She earned her bachelor degree, in nursing, in 2002 and worked in labor and delivery for 6.5 years. In 2009, Amanda completed her master degree, in nursing, and became board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, as a Nurse Practitioner. Amanda received both her Bachelor of Science, and her Master of Science degree, in nursing, from The University of Texas at Arlington, School of Nursing.
Amanda has two sisters. One is her identical twin sister. She and her husband Fred live in McKinney, Texas, where they plan a family.
Working in the labor and delivery unit has given Amanda a strong work ethic and the desire to continue her education. Her background and interest in women’s health, lead her to continue to care for women. Amanda has had the opportunity to work directly with the providers and patients of this practice during her work in the labor and delivery unit.
As a nurse practitioner, Amanda strives to be a healthcare partner to her patients. She uses caring and open communication to promote health and wellbeing. Amanda believes that patients who are actively engaged in their own healthcare, are empowered, and have better outcomes.
